It’s pretty easy to stroll around in here. Just click on the buttons my wonderful web designer has made for you. You can learn about how my book got started, see the stores where “But…Why?” is available, or even read a little more about me. There is also a page from the story that you can view.

My name is CJ Coleman. What? Oh, yes I will tell you what the abbreviation stands for. That is usually the first question I get. Carol Jo. Yep, that’s it. However, I never hear it anymore. Someone called me CJ in high school--and it STUCK!

“But…Why?” is the name of my first self-published children’s book. Yes, that is right, self-published. I am very proud of that actually. It’s a lot of work!

I was born and raised in Carrollton, MS, and moved to Jackson, MS in my twenties. That is where I met and married my husband.  We now live in his home town of Sturgis, MS.  It is a small town not far from Starkville, the home of Mississippi State University, where I work full time.

“But…Why?”  is almost sold out, but there are still a few left, and we will let you know when they are completely gone. I wanted to keep the site open because there are more stories in the making. One is about an elephant, and another about a bumblebee. Oh, and there is a ladybug story, too.  It is a lengthy process, so keep checking back to see what is happening in my small part of the world!
